Tourists worry about traveling to Jamaica as the years go by. Its not all that its cracked up to be. Jamaica declared a state of emergency in parts of kingston on sunday. Violence increased dramatically this year as well as drugs and gangs. A lot of tourists have become worried over this and feel that going there can be very dangerous. Local Jamaicans say you will be fine if you stay in the main resort areas on the island and dont travel anywhere near kingston. Gangs have increased in Kingston this past year and officials claim they dont have any idea. Locals say Kingston always hasnt been the best place to go to but that it was never like this.
